Case 1
Problem:
A global company based in Massachusetts supplies video and data information to many major outlets that require details in an extremely
fast manner. They did not have enough quality satellite earth stations to provide their clients with what they needed.

Pivotal Satellite’s Solution:
We went through an intense RFP process to obtain all of the information required to install 17 large antennas to deliver content with blazing fast speed using broadcast quality. The antennas, ranging from 1.8 M - 7.3 M, were installed on their 4-story roof with crane lifts and also into the ground with concrete pad pours and extensive conduit runs. This was followed by professional integration services with a full test and training session.

Outcome:
The company was able to obtain and deliver their content in the format they needed to satisfy their client’s requests. The antenna install project was also completed on time and true to budget, saving money in up-front costs and recurring fees.

Problem:
We work with a global satellite communications company that specializes in large program management with various content delivery applications. They have numerous contracts with Fortune 500 companies to install large VSAT networks, subcontract multi-city ad-hoc videoconferences, and system maintenance orders to repair or upgrade existing earth terminals. Problem:
Our client is a global company who specializes in the production and delivery of communications products primarily for the consumer market. They needed to have their president, located in a non-US office, speak to many of their branch offices to deliver company-sensitive content in a fast, affordable, flexible, and secure manner.

Pivotal Satellite’s Solution:
Utilizing our skills and global networking relationships, we were able to coordinate and manage their entire program. We arranged for the outbound transmission at the origination site and domestic teleport services, including standards conversion with NTSC and PAL formats and international space segment. From there, we coordinated and managed the multi-city domestic downlinks (and Canada) at various office sites and hotel facilities. We provided best-in-class service during the planning phase and in the field to minimize wasted time while delivering timely communication.

Outcome:
We delivered a flawless, digitally encrypted program originating from an international location and broadcasted to numerous North American sites. The event significantly reduced their travel expenses of flying, meals, and lodging for all their employees at a central location. Also, employee production remained high as downtime stayed low by viewing the content locally.
